About Me
I'm a teacher, teacher educator and materials writer with over 30 years' experience in English language teaching. My special area of expertise is in primary education, working with children between the ages of 3 – 12. I'm currently working as an international educational consultant on a range of projects from curriculum and course design to the delivery of customised teacher education courses. This work has taken me to many different countries in recent years. I am also a frequent speaker at regional, national and international conferences on English language teaching. My previous experience includes teaching, teacher training and academic management posts in Venezuela, Portugal and Spain. My publications include a six-level primary course Bugs (with three co-authors) which won a British Council Innovation Award, and a methodology book 500 Activities for the Primary Classroom which was Highly Commended in the ESU Duke of Edinburgh English language book awards.
